My Methodology: Through The Written Word

Given the name of my business is Through The Written Word, it’s no surprise that all of my teachings and coaching containers are rooted in the benefits of exactly this. The written word is a tool that is accessible to us all, if we so choose it. It’s a portal for clarity, creativity, and confidence, all of which support our growth and evolution as people in today’s world.

Before you click off and think “I’m not a words person” or “I’m terrible at writing”, this isn’t about the level of your ability. There is no judgement or exam involved. It’s just about you and your willingness to use the written word as a tool to fast-track your own learning and success.

One of the most astounding facts about the power of the written word is that you remember your learning 50 times more, even if you never look at your notes again. This alone is enough to make it worth it and why my methodology is so effective. In addition to this, studies have also found that you are significantly more likely to achieve your goals and desires if you write them down.

You’ll find that the most successful leaders and business owners, both in the past and alive today, all use this tool, because the benefits massively outweigh any reason not to use it.

A lesser known benefit is that writing helps to move energy from our head to our heart, as the palms of our hands consist of energy centres that are intimately connected to our heart centre. You’ve probably recognised that just speaking about something can make you overthink and go around in circles, whereas the minute you use your energy to write all your thoughts down, you suddenly feel “lighter’ as you’ve cleared space (energy) in your mind and heart to think and feel more clearly.

As part of my methodology, I guide my clients through a specific contemplative process, using the acronym “WORD”, which encourages them to use both the left and right side of their brain so that they can extract their inner wisdom and catapult their growth.

Below is a sample of the many ways you can activate your limitless potential through the written word:
